Personal Life Coaching
Coaching is for champions: For people who take full accountability for their life, actions and decisions and are open for personal development, challenge and new perspectives. Coaching empowers you to find your own answers, supports you to make important choices, take action, and thereby, accelerates transformation. Coaching will nudge you out of your comfort zone, give you straightforward feedback and provides accountability as a motivating force to keep you moving forward in your life and work.
When compared to training, it can be more effective because you spend less time and at the same to work one-on-one on your specific challenges and goals. Research has proven that one-to-one coaching is the most effective means of upgrading your skill set, such as improving your leadership behaviors (“Coaching Counts,” 2007).
I use the Co-Active™ model as a basis of my coaching work and I combine them with my additional knowledge, skills and tools on how to work with teams and individuals, such as the Insights Discovery psychometric tool.
A 3- to 6-month coaching program of weekly, biweekly or monthly coaching sessions is usually ideal for most clients to establish new behaviors or habits. Geography isn't an issue as I coach individuals over the phone or through Skype/FaceTime across the world. One coaching session takes 60 minutes. Your first coaching session is the exception, and is usually 90 minutes in length. During this longer discovery session, I’ll have provided you with pre-work to help us narrow down what you most want to achieve with our time together.
At the end of a session, you will commit to actions or inquiries, which we then build on in the next session.
